Obituary
Diann Irene Getman passed away peacefully Saturday, July 21st, 2018 in her home in Peachtree City, GA at the age of 83. Diann was born to Eddie and Irene (Foote) Solberg on April 3, 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Diann married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Getman, December 28th, 1954 and raised 3 children. She was a wonderful mother who loved her family with all of her heart. Moving to Tulsa, OK after the kids were raised she was an active member of PEO organization. She lost the love of her life in 1990 and later moved to Georgia where her youngest daughter resided.
Diann loved to travel, recently taking the family on a vacation to Mexico, she loved the beach and ocean.
Diann is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Bode of Tulsa, OK, Beverly and Bruce Nicely of McDonough, GA, son Carl and Leslie Getman of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Ryan Bode of Algona IA, Ashley Bode of Tulsa OK, Carter and Logan Nicely of Atlanta GA, and Cousin Arnold and Judy Foote of Minneapolis MN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Getman, brother Dudley and parents Eddie and Irene Solberg.
