Dolores "Lola" A. Gonzalez, 93, passed from this life to her eternal home on November 5, 2022. A native of San Benito, Texas, she was born on October 30, 1929. Dolores was a Tulsa resident, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. One of ten children, she always said she had "the best parents in the world!" Her loving and joyful ways came from her devoted Catholic faith and her entire family.

She was married to the love of her life, Eustolio G. "Shorty" Gonzalez, for forty-six years and was preceded in death by him and several family members. She is survived by sisters, Esther Mills and Angelina Alvarez of Austin, Texas; daughters, Joyce (Fuller), Mary (Knight), Rita (Andrew), and son, David Gonzalez of Tulsa, OK; daughters Laura (Beasley) and Teresa Gonzalez of Denver, CO; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; many nieces; and nephews.

Dolores's love for and faith in God led her to travel around the world to the Holy Land, Egypt, Rome, and many other locations. Her love of music and dancing was expressed by praising our Lord with her choir in many churches, including Vatican City.

Having lived with a grateful heart, her life motto was: "The Lord has blessed me all my life." She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her beautiful smiling face. She will always be remembered in our hearts by her signature red hat and red glasses.

Rosary service will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 10th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1727 S. 75th E. Ave., Tulsa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 11th, at Holy Family Cathedral, 122 W. 8th Street, Tulsa. Graveside service to be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa. Afterward, the family would like to invite those in attendance to a reception at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
