Don Clyde Hodges passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2024 to be with our Lord and Savior. He was born February 11, 1946 in Lubbock, TX to parents Clyde and Renell Hodges. Don graduated from Gravette, AR high school in 1963. He then attended John Brown University and finished at Northeastern State University Tahlequah OK in 1975.
Don joined the US Air Force in 1965 where he served in communications intelligence. During his service, Don was stationed in the Philippines, Japan and Key West, FL. After his military time, Don worked for the US Postal Service until he retired in November 1992. Don later established ArkHoma Realty in Kansas, OK where he was Real Estate broker/owner.
Don was married to Ruth Lehmann on February 15, 1985 at the First United Methodist Church Tulsa, OK. They made their home in Jenks, OK
Don loved life, adventures and traveled extensively either on a motorcycle or pulling a camper for camping. His favorite hobby was photography of wildlife or God's beautiful creation. He enjoyed container gardening and flowers of all kinds.
Don is survived by his wife, Ruth Hodges of Tulsa, OK, son, Michael of Tahlequah, OK , Daughter Laura Renell Hodge (Bryan) of Park Hill, OK, twin sons Steven (Sonya) of Jenks, OK and Chris (Joeli) of Tulsa, OK, granddaughter Ashley Renell Hodges, grandsons Taylor Hodge, Evan, Bryce, Ethan, Will, Kade and Christian Hodges, sister Janice Nivens (Bobby) of Rogers, AR and two nephews Jeremy and Andrew Allen. Don is also survived by many members of the Lehmann family, who loved him as one of their own.
