Don C. Steinmeyer passed away on October 25, 2010, after an extended illness. He was born on March 15, 1931, in Tulsa to Gladys and Warner Steinmeyer. Don attended and graduated from Tulsa Central High School, and then served four years In the United States Air Force, stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. He attended the University of Tulsa, graduating with a BS in petroleum engineering. Don spent his entire career in the oil and gas industry. He is predeceased by his wife, Phyllis, and his son, Tye Stein- meyer. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa A. Steinmeyer of Tulsa, and his beloved dog. Per Don's request, there will be no service. Remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice. A special thank you to Debbie Rider for her dedicated caregiving and friendship for the past 10 years. We would also like to thank Grace Hospice for their compassionate care of Don in his last days.
