Donald "Don" Charles Irwin was born on December 15, 1941, in Tulsa, OK, to Zoe and Donald Irwin. Don attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from Central High school in 1959. Don was in the US Army in Ft. Benning, Georgia. Don married his current wife Debby Raskin on October 31, 2000.

Don joined the Tulsa Police Department in 1963 and retired in 1986. During his time with TPD he was a detective and on the vice squad. His favorite assignment was the motorcycle squad, where he was also was a safety instructor.

Don served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968 in the 139th Military Police Company where he was a Criminal investigator. After Don's time in the Army he returned to Tulsa.

Don loved his family, cars, motorcycles, all animals especially snakes, and being outdoors. During their lives together, Don and Debby enjoyed many road trips together; his favorites were trips to Arkansas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho.

Don is survived by his wife Debby Raskin; daughter, Kerin Barngrover (Melvin), son, Mark Irwin (Tiffani) and daughter, Gabby Raskin-Irwin; grandchildren, Zach Vick (Katherine), Chase Barngrover (Haley), Breanna Satterfield (Tanner), Emma Barngrover, Savannah Irwin, and Luke Irwin; and great grandchildren, Bryson Barngrover and Waylon Satterfield.

Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 11:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Tulsa.
