Dorothea Mae Alcott, age 85, died on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, peacefully at Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dorothea was born on June 14th, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, to parents Bernice Stone and Francis Englebert Schulte. She received her Registered Nursing Degree at St Louis University, and later went back to receive her BSN. She married Charles Alan Alcott and they moved to Tulsa, OK where they called home. Dedicating more than 38 years to St. Francis Emergency Room working the Night Shift, as the Head Nurse Supervisor, she received multiple awards including the highest title, "The Award of Excellence." Dorothea had a deep passion for Gardening, Reading, going to local theatres, and watching the St Louis Cardinals Baseball Games. She will be loved and remembered for her expert Gardening Skills, her beautiful Sunroom, her love for the Cardinals, and "Mema." "Mema" is survived by her 4 Children: Dan Alcott of Houston, TX; Matt Alcott of Tulsa, OK; Janet Altamirano of Sugarland, TX; and John & Jennifer Alcott of Tulsa, OK; as well as her numerous Grandchildren: Jack & Marina Alcott, Jenna & Oscar Sanchez, Josie Alcott, Jordyn Mae Alcott, Johnny Alcott, Jenevieve Alcott, Julia Oswald, and Isaac Altamirano. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Alan Alcott.
