Obituary

Edward ("Ed") Aloysius Clark, of Tulsa, died on July 28, 2018.  He was born May 2, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, to Edward Aloysius Clark and Catherine Gertrude Clark (Harrigan).  He enlisted in the United States Air Force on October 12, 1949, as an Airman; and, after serving with distinction for 37 years, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.  During the time of his service, he earned a Master's Degree in Business Management from Webster University, in 1981.

Following his retirement, Ed established his residence in Tulsa, at the Shadow Mountain Condominiums, where he continued to reside until his passing.  During this time, Ed served proudly on the Board of Directors.

In addition, Ed was a licensed real estate broker and on April 7, 1995, was appointed by Governor Frank Keating, to serve the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission as a Commissioner.

Ed enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was also an avid country and western dancer.  He once appeared on a televised episode of Wild Horse Saloon.   Ed enjoyed traveling, both domestic and abroad.

Ed is survived by his older brother, James Clark, of Vacaville, CA; Ed's five children: Patti Lee Rounds, of Bend, OR; Carrie Ann Hollis, of Idaho Falls, ID; Edward A. Clark, of Claremore, OK; Eileen C. Clark, of Denver, CO; and, Thomas P. Clark, of Tulsa, OK.  Ed is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and, 7 great-children.  He was preceded in death by his parents and four of his siblings, Eileen Gilroy; Pat Marsters; Charlie Clark; and, Tommy Clark.A visitation will be held 8:00 am until 10:45 am, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.  Funeral services will follow, beginning at 11:00 am.  Burial services will commence at 2:00 pm sharp, at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Road, Fort Gibson, OK 74434.
