Obituary
Cresse, Eileen Wainwright, 93, died Friday, Oct 14th, just 2 days shy of her 94th birthday after a brief illness. Born Oct 16, 1922 Omaha, NE to Marguerite (Carey) and Raymond Wainwright.
She married Jack Read Cresse, Nov 30, 1944. The family moved to Tulsa in 1950. Predeceased by parents, husband Jack, siblings Lenore Sundholm and Gordon 'Buddy' Wainwright. Survived by daughter, Janice Munn (Frank), grandchildren, Justin Munn (Kelly) and Claire Portolese (Matt); great-grandchildren MaryClaire and Finley Munn, Joseph, Jack and Julia Portolese. She leaves friends and loving support staff at Town Village and The Parke.
Eileen retired from National Bank of Tulsa (BOK) and doted on her grandchildren thereafter. She blessed family and close friends with her homemade Christmas cookies and hand-knitted 'Nana blankets.'
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Jack Cresse Scholarship Fund at the University of Tulsa School of Communications or a charity of your choice.
Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Memorial Mass 1:00 p.m. Thursday, both at Church of St. Mary.
