Eleanor Nancy Fisher born March 2, 1931, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and passed March 8, 2022 at St. John's Medical Center. She just celebrated her 91st birthday. She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Minnie Green, and sister of Curtis and Michael Green; all preceded her in death. She is survived by her children. Robert Fisher, Carol Fisher, Esther Cohen and their spouses, Wendi Fisher and Irv Gertner; her 7 grandchildren, Joshua, Alexander, Zachary and Jason Gertner, Meghan Wagner, Brooke Muly and Erin Shivers; her 4 great grandchildren, Zeke, Titus and Jack Wagner, Birdie Muly; and beloved sister-in-law, Joan Green.
Besides her family, Nancy loved tennis. She was ranked #1 for 10 years, in doubles and singles, in the Missouri Valley region of the USTA, Nancy won over 150 tennis tournaments as a singles player and doubles player, with her long-time tennis partner, Betty Delazalier, who preceded her in death.
Nancy also loved Broadway shows and attended them whenever she could. She was a lover of music and old Hollywood and subscribed to Variety Magazine. In her last days, she was surrounded by her loved ones who kept a constant vigil at her bedside. She passed knowing she was loved, and listening to the music she enjoyed. May her memory always be a blessing.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 14, 10:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
