Eleanor Ann (Weatherby) Reed

Eleanor Ann,(nickname "Ronnie") was born in Toledo, Ohio, March 31, 1925 and went to her reward on
Nov. 20, 2011, at age 86 after many years of bad health. She is survived by her husband Robert B. Reed after 61 years of marriage.She had four children, ten grand-children, ( One. Michael Martin, deceased,) and
thirteen great-grand-children.She is also survived by her children, Jennifer Hollon of Silva, N.C.,Diane Allyson Martin of Broken Arrow, OK., Meredith A. Farmer of Tulsa, OK., Robert Weatherby Reed of Thornton, CO.
The grand-children are: Amos Benjamin Henry, Wichita, KS. , Dr. Megan Plumstead, Golden Oak, Stacy M. Heyasat, Nurse Practitioner, Greer, SC.,Jon Adam Slinkard, Broken Arrow, OK. Todd Martin, Kingman, AZ. , Benjamin Martin, Broken Arrow, OK. J. Spencer Hollon, Silva, NC. Paul Farmer and Jacob Farmer of Tulsa, OK. Eleanor Ann attended Holland Hall School, Randolph-Macon College, Lynchburg, VA, She graduated from Tulsa University with a degree in Psychology. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, The Junior League,
and many other organizations. During the teen-age years of her children she worked with the Tulsa Police Dept. to get many teen-age delinquents into wholesome pursuits. Her father was Dr. B.B. Weatherby, V. P. of Amerada Petroleum Co. a prominent scientist who was instrumental in the discovery of the Libyan oil fields. Her mother, Ethel R. Weatherby was a homemaker
and a prominent member of the P.E.O. Society. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the Alzheimers Association. Funeral service 11:00am Monday, November 28, 2011 at Saint Patrick's Episcopal Church, 4250 West 81st Street in Broken Arrow, OK.
