Elizabeth (Betty) Dorney, 95, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Franciscan Villa. Born April 25, 1918 in Lorain, Ohio. Survived by: sons, Rev. Msgr. Dennis Dorney and Jim Dorney; grandson, Devin Dorney. She worked as bookkeeper for Catholic Charities in Okla. City for 28 years. After retiring she moved to Tulsa. Member of St. John's Auxiliary for 18 years working in the gift shop. She also served as treasurer of the Auxiliary. Member of St. Pius X Church and active in the 55 Plus groups for seniors. She loved working in the garden, doing crossword puzzles and watching sports on TV. Always willing to help others and never missed a chance to have a dinner party. Prayer service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 and Mass 11 a.m. Thursday both at St. Pius X.
