Ellen Agnes Rush Geiger, 92, passed away April 19, 2016. She was born
January 12, 1924, to Thomas and Emma Rush. She was raised in Tulsa, one of
11 children, attended St. Francis grade school and graduated from Holy
Family High School. She was retired from St John Medical Center. She
married Carl H. Geiger in 1949. She loved to travel and also enjoyed her
many years as a Girl Scout Leader. She is preceded in death by her
parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and her husband Carl. She is survived by
her 3 children, Patricia Brennan and husband Wayne, Mary West and Carl F
Geiger; her brother Don and his wife Jackie, her sisters Mary Cole and Sr.
M Daria Rush; grandchildren Michael Brennan and wife Lindsey, Eric Brennan,
Amanda Manier and husband Spencer, Hayley Walters and husband Chris; 5
great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday,
April 21, 4pm – 7pm at Fitzgerald Southwood with Rosary following at 7pm.
Funeral Mass, Friday April 22, 11am at St Francis Xavier Church. The
family wishes to thank Franciscan Villa staff and Cura Hospice for their
care and compassion during her final days.
