Eric Peaden, 44, of Jenks, OK passed away with his family by his side, on his birthday, Sunday, September 4th, 2016.
He was born in Stillwater, OK on September 4th, 1972 to Peggy Scheppele and John Peaden and was raised in Bartlesville and Broken Arrow. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1990 and then set out to start a family and build multiple small businesses.
Eric lived his life with passion in all he did; from being a loving husband, raising three daughters, building custom homes, and following lifelong interests and hobbies.
From a young age, Eric showed great enthusiasm in muscle cars, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and the Chicago Bulls. He loved learning the history behind cars and could talk for hours about the stories from behind the wheels of the cars and people he loved.
Eric spent the majority of his career creating and growing his businesses. From an early start with his EJP Cleaning to building dream homes. Crest Homes is where Eric's attention to detail gave the homebuyers a chance at building not just a house but their own dream home.
Without a doubt Eric would say that being a father was the greatest success in his life. He taught his girls many things, but perhaps the most significant were the importance of family, the value of hard work, and to never give up; no matter what life throws at you.
Eric leaves behind his wife Jazzman, daughters Hayley (Davor) Bakovic, Cadence Kramer, and Brynlee Peaden; parents John and Linda Peaden of Owasso, OK; mother Peggy (Stuart) Scheppele of Naperville, IL; brothers Kyle (Morgan) Peaden of Madison, WI; Mark Peaden of Davis, CA; step-sisters Susan Scheppele and Caroline Swafford, IL; grandmother Jo Ledlow of Tulsa, OK; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Ruth Peaden of Stillwater, OK; Charles and Kay Tegerson of Oklahoma City, OK; grandfather Bill Ledlow of Oklahoma City, OK; and uncle Ron Peaden of Stillwater, OK.
A very special thanks goes to the staff of Hillcrest Medical Center and Clarehouse for the compassionate and exceptional treatment and care.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, September 9th at First Baptist Church, 403 S. Cincinnati, Tulsa, OK. The burial will follow at 2:00PM at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.
