Erla Pease Sieler, born Lundy, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 82 years old. Devoted wife to John Sieler, she is also survived by her daughter Robyn Pease Barr and son in law John Barr, of Tamworth, England, stepdaughter Hannah Sieler, of Seattle, and her loving dog, Aretha.

Erla was born on December 27, 1941, and spent her early years in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She attended Colorado Women's College and graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Education. She began working at the American Cancer Society in 1978, working her way up to Vice President, in Kansas City, and Head of Fundraising across four states in the Heartland Region.

She loved traveling the world and discovering new countries and cultures. She met her husband, John, on a Tulsa Ski Club trip to Egypt, in 2011. They have traveled the world ever since, frequently visiting Robyn and John in England and Hannah in Seattle. Most recently, she traveled with her family across Austria, Italy, and Germany in March. Her favorite place was the porch at the family condo in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

A service celebrating her life will be held at Temple Israel on Friday, August 16, at 1:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to share this special time with the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Erla's name can be made to the American Cancer Society. the Temple Israel Building fund, or the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art.
