On December 16, 2024, Erma Lee (Johnson) Burkhart, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 91.

Erma was born on November 1, 1933, in Jenks, Oklahoma to Rufus Tandy and Nora Ellen Johnson.

She met and married Jerry Don Burkhart on March 7, 1951. They were married for 48 years and had 3 daughters, Gail, Teresa, and Cindy.

During her life she enjoyed Sewing for her children and grandchildren. She worked downtown at Ikes Chili, Erma also worked at Park Elementary in the Cafeteria. Her passion in life was attending Church and going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She frequently visited Goodwill taking whichever grandkid she was watching that day. I'm sure they have a few stories about that.

Erma loved visiting with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was also happy to watch the grandkids when needed. Erma loved visiting with and was always happy to see Sister Cathy Tosh, Sister Cathy Tilley and Sister Linda Brown.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jerry Burkhart; Father Rufus and Mother Nora; sisters, June and Betty; brothers Bill, John and Ronnie.

She is survived by her three daughters: Gail Armstrong, Teresa Burkhart, Cindy Martin and her husband James. Erma had five grandkids, Brian and his wife Melissa, Ashley and her husband Kyle, Mitchel and his wife Kayla, Zachary and his wife Amber. Also, Cade Ketchum. She had fourteen great grandkids, Miller, Hannah, Karson, Hudson, Greyson, Amelia, Nora, Annabelle, Camon, Lainey, Tinsley, Roston, Jackie and Atlas. Two sisters, Carolyn and Sharon and numerous nieces and nephews.
