Obituary
Ernest F. Buss, 85, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Owasso, Oklahoma.
Born on June 24, 1931 in Shoal Creek, Arkansas, Ernest was the fifth of nine children born to Joseph and Rose (Engel) Buss. After graduating from Subiaco Academy, he served in the Air Force and was stationed in Newfoundland. After his service, he moved to Tulsa and worked in sales until his retirement. Ernest devoted his life to his friends, brothers and sisters and many nephews and nieces.
Ernest was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, John and Robert Buss, and one sister, Sophia Buss, all of Tulsa.
He is survived by four sisters, Rosemary Wilson and Cathy Marks of Tulsa, Margie Phillips of Paris, Arkansas, and Dorothy Schwartz of Shoal Bay, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from 12 pm until 7 pm, with a 7 pm Rosary, on Tuesday, April 4th, both at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 14th and South Boulder Avenue, Tulsa. Funeral Mass will be 10 am, Wednesday, April 5th, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2434 East Admiral Blvd, Tulsa. Interment follows at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, also in Tulsa.
