Obituary

Estelle Fabes, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 92. She passed quietly from complications due to Alzheimer's. Estelle is survived by her sons Richard and Russell, daughter Rhonda Ginsburg, daughter-in-law Carol Martin, son-in-law Robert Ginsburg, and grandchildren Sarah and Erin Ginsburg.

Born in 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dave and Elizabeth Shapiro. Estelle had a younger brother Arnold whom she loved dearly and preceded her in death. Estelle met her husband Norman Fabes while they both lived in Kansas City. They moved to Oklahoma to help manage the family business and raised their family in Tulsa.

Estelle enjoyed shopping, traveling, food, and being with family and friends. She had a quiet voice but a large presence, with a lust for life. She and Norman developed a large circle of deep friendships that lasted throughout their lives. Her devotion to her husband and family was strong and grew even stronger with time, defining her last years. Estelle will be missed intensely; however, her spirit will live on through her family and the many memories she has given them.

Graveside rites 1 PM Friday, February 17th, Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Estelle's family suggests that those willing may donate to the Alzheimer's Association in her name ( < https://www.alz.org/ >).
