Estelle Finer, a proud Tulsan for 63 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 20, 2022, at the age of 94, after a brave battle with cancer. She lived every day with a positive attitude and had a big smile for everyone she met.

Estelle was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1928, to Ann and Abraham Beerman. Estelle moved to Tulsa in 1959 to begin a new life with her husband, Joe, at the beginnings of Fabricut. She fell in love with Oklahoma and the Southwestern way of life.

Estelle was an active member of The Jewish Federation of Tulsa, National Council of Jewish Women, Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry, United Jewish Appeal National Women's Cabinet, and The Community Relations Council of Tulsa Jewish Community. She volunteered as an English and History teacher in Tulsa Public Schools. Her professional career was as an Oral Surgical Nurse in Veterans Hospital in Brooklyn.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Stuart Beerman, and the love of her life, Joe Finer. She is survived by her three children, Paul (Teresa) Finer, David (Jan) Finer, and Judy (Jeremy) Freedman; her 10 grandchildren, Jodi (Mat) Zalk, Dina (Jono) Gluck, AJ (Carly) Finer, Elena Finer, Jesse Freedman, Talia Finer, Amanda Freedman, Zoe Finer, Zach Freedman, and Anna Finer; and her six great-grandchildren, Ariana, Simone, and Ivie Zalk, Noah and Sloane Gluck, and Oliver Finer. Her family is forever indebted to her caregivers for their support and companionship that enhanced her life.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23rd, at B'nai Emunah Synagogue. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be an afternoon service at Zarrow Pointe Retirement Center at 4:30 p.m.
