Eugene William Gerlach, 94, died peacefully on Saturday, April 6th. A devout Catholic and proud parishioner of Saint Anne Church, he was a model of faith and an example to many. An avid bowler and golfer in his younger days, Gene retired from Citgo Petroleum. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Rose Marie, and his son-in-law, Bob Kurowski. He is survived by his six children: Nancy Kurowski; Mark (Sylvia) Gerlach; Robert (Mary) Gerlach; Mary Jo (Tom) Thomas; John (Shari) Gerlach; and Fr. Matt Gerlach; 14 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
