Frances Vivian Allen was born on December 23rd, 1921 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed to her heavenly reward November 25, 2014 just before her 93rd birthday. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, J.D. Allen of Collinsville.
Vivian is survived by her eight children: Joe, Don, Patrick, Kenny and Greg Allen of Claremore, Janet Allen of Colorado Springs, Judy Hess of Chelsea and Vivian Bunch of Kansas City; In addition, 26 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Vivian's family lovingly regards her as "the greatest mother from the greatest generation".
Visitation: Sunday, November 30th from noon to 3:00 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 East 91st Street South, Tulsa.
Rosary: Sunday, November 30th at 3:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel
Mass and funeral services will be held Monday, December 1st at 10:00 a.m., St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Claremore. 918-341-2343
Vivian will be buried next to her husband at Calvary cemetery in Tulsa. Memorials may be made to the Home of Hope in Vinita, OK.
