F.A. "Asbury" AsburyJuly 1922-January 2018
The 95 year old Tulsa native had lived in Albuquerque NM since 2009. Asbury graduated from Holy Family High School and Tulsa University. He was a WWII vet who served in the Navy, and he retired from Shell Oil. "Asbury" and his wife Phyllis, who predeceased him, lived an active lifestyle and loved to dance and play golf and bridge together.
Survivors include daughters, Rhonda, Lynn, Anne and their families, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He had a good long life and lived it well.
Friends may honor Asbury's memory with a contribution to a veterans' charity of their choice.
A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 27th, at the Chapel of Calvary Cemetery, 9101 S. Harvard Avenue, in Tulsa.
