Fern Lucille Bilyeu, 104, died on September 8, 2022 at Porta Caeli Hospice House in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born September 12, 1917 in Decatur, Illinois to John and Mamie Rozanski. She married Cecil R. Bilyeu on May 31, 1934. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1972. Seven of her eight brothers and three of her sisters also preceded her in death. One brother (Tom Rozanski) survives.

During her 104 years (almost 105) she lived in Decatur, Illinois, Topeka, Kansas, Emporia, Kansas, Manhattan, Kansas, and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, doing puzzle books and watching old TV shows and game shows.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Donald Bilyeu (Avis) and John Bilyeu (Marlene), her daughter-in-law Avis Bilyeu, granddaughter, Cynthia Scargall and grandson Charles Bilyeu. She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Adams (Alvin), and her daughter-in-law Marlene Bilyeu. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren: Brian Bilyeu (Jacqui), Beth Fries, Cheryl Bilyeu, Michael Bilyeu, Annette Brouner (Jim), Jeanine Lavington (Randy), Aaron Adams (Sandy), several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

No visitation is scheduled. Graveside services will be held at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, in Topeka, Kansas on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 1 P.M. where Fern will be laid to rest next to her husband Cecil, with Pastor Phil Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the donors choice.
