Ferrell Allen Hart, age 80, passed away on May 20th, 2025, in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Ferrell was born on April 24th 1945 in Checotah Oklahoma to Geraldine Hart. He graduated from Bishop Kelley High School in the class of 1963 then went on to NSU and graduated with a degree in accounting. He took a job with Amoco and that is where his adventures began. Ferrell and his then wife Toni moved to Chicago Illinois, Cairo Egypt, Houston Texas, Jakarta Indonesia and Tulsa Oklahoma. Ferrell then moved back to Cairo Egypt, Stavanger Norway, Baku Azerbaijan and eventually retired in 1999 back to Tulsa to be with his kids and grandkids. Ferrell was an avid softball player while living overseas and was also deeply involved in the Cairo youth baseball association. He served many expatriate kids by organizing the baseball and softball leagues. In his travels, Ferrell had an impact on many co-workers and made friends with everyone he came across. His fondest memories of living overseas were the lifelong friends he made and adventures he experienced. Ferrell's grandchildren have the fondest memories of countless pool parties and shopping trips with Papa. In retirement, Ferrell and Mike operated the Ron's Hamburgers and recently the family bar, Shot Happens. Ferrell loved his employees and the customers he turned into friends. Ferrell was an avid sports fan and there was never a day that went by where conversation didn't revolve around the Texas Rangers, or baseball in general, OU football, The Oklahoma City Thunder or any other sporting event going on. He enjoyed working in his yard and entertaining his family and friends around his pool and amazing backyard. Ferrell never met a stranger and was a true friend to all and genuine amazing dad and grandpa. He will be remembered for his love of life and his competitive spirit in darts, softball or any other sport he was involved in.
Ferrell, FA, Papa, Dad, Bud, Grandpa, Big Daddy is survived by his sons Mike Hart and Matt Hart, grandchildren, Ben Hart, Cameryn Hart, Maggie Hart, And Bradie Hart. Ex-wife and long-lasting friend, Toni Hart and spouse Pam Heggen, Sister in laws, Missy Bretz, and Peggy Sturgis, Brother in law Mike Gray and wife Diane and countless nieces and nephews he loved and cherished as his own.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Geraldine Hart and Step father Fred Hart.
A celebration of life is scheduled for June 14th, 2025 at 630 pm at the family bar, Shot Happens, 8203 S. Harvard Avenue Tulsa, OK 74137
