Obituary

Frances Louise Myers Reagan passed away peacefully into Heaven in her sleep on June 20, 2026. She was born on July 26, 1929 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, to the late Robinson & Pearl Graham Myers and predeceased by all her siblings, Luther, Marie, Zola, John, Herold, Cluke, Waltena, Sarah, Julia, Dewey, Opal, Warren, Robinson Jr., Roy and Margaret.

She is also preceded in death by husband Dale A. Reagan, Sr. and her son, Dale A. Reagan, Jr.

Frances is survived by daughters Julia Reagan (William), Susan Newkham (Michael), Rebecca Kirk (Robert) and daughter-in-law Pamela Reagan. Seven Grandchildren: Danielle, Megan, Nicole, Rachael, Reed, Sarah and Hannah. Seven Great Grandchildren: Kaitlin, Aaron, Michael, Ellie, Chloe, Cooper and Henry. Plus, many, many loving Nieces and Nephews.

Francie, as she preferred to be called, was raised primarily west of Chelsea, Oklahoma on the family farm. The fifteenth of sixteen children, the small wood plank farmhouse was always packed with activity. As a child she attended class in a stone schoolhouse located in the Waller Community of Rogers County, Oklahoma. She attended church and met Jesus at the Winganon Baptist Church. Money was scarce in the Myers household, but love was abundant. She recalled her rearing with great fondness.

Married young, she raised four children mostly on her own. Never one to sit idle, she improved her mind and skills with classes after work, at Tulsa Junior College (now TCC). She enjoyed a long career at Hughes Tool Company, in downtown Tulsa. While working in the oil industry, she was active in the Tulsa Chapter of the Desk & Derrick Club. Serving as the Chapter President in 1979 and making many life-long friends. As a breast cancer survivor, she was active in the Tulsa Affiliate Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization. A faithful member of First Baptist Tulsa, she joined its congregation with her family in the early 1960's. She served in many capacities over the years - Clothes Closet, Caring Center, Prayer Room, WMU, Prayer Walks, Bible Studies and Fellowships. After retirement, she took up Real Estate, a second career love. She enjoyed cooking, puttering in the yard and growing a small, yet bountiful vegetable garden. She loved antiques and the thrill of the hunt, often laughingly calling it "junking".

More than all of this, she loved her walk with the Lord. Reading her Bible and Devotions in the quiet of the early morning was a favorite activity. She is now at home, in peace and fully whole.

A service for Francie will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Tulsa First Baptist Church, 420 S. Detroit Ave., Tulsa. Officiating will be long-time friends, Jerry and Deniese Dillion. A family graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Pawhuska City Cemetery.

Heartfelt thanks to the Staff at Del City's Homestead Assisted Living for their patience, expertise and dedicated care. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church, Tulsa in Francie's memory would be appreciated.
