Franna Helene (Hieronymus) Hammer died Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019.  She was born In Denver, CO October 22, 1937 to Ramona (Jamieson) and Frantz Hieronymus.  She graduated from Central High School in Tulsa, OK and the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa where she received her degree in English and completed 2 years of law school. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Fran enjoyed many years of service and giving through Junior League of Tulsa, YWCA, Red Cross and Christ the King Church where she has been a member for over 60 years. She married Donald E. Hammer in 1963 and was preceded in death by him in 1995.  She is survived by their 3 children: Julie Hammer Pedigo (husband Matt) of Edmond, OK
Jim Hammer (wife Emily) of Tulsa, OK and Jenny Hammer of Tulsa, OK, her sister Frantzie Couch (husband Don) of Lawton, OK and their 4 children - Megan, Bridgid, Colin and Maureen. She was also survived by her four grandchildren - Brittany, Dale, Whitney and Allison, and two great-grandchildren - Jenna and Lorn. Fran spent the last 13 years of her life with her best friend, Tom Metcalf, and together they lived and loved and faced the challenges of aging together.
