Fred Johnson
Fred was born October 22, 1959 in Topeka, Kansas. He passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Fred met the love of his life, Erin, while attending Oklahoma State University and working at Ken's Pizza. Although he had to ask many times, he was stubborn and persistent, and she finally said yes to a date. They married on November 28, 1982. They were married for 35 years and had three children. He loved woodworking, history and western shows and singing to embarrass his children. His three grandchildren were his absolute pride and joy. Fred always said that his greatest accomplishment was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Erin; his three children and their spouses, Jamie and Thomas Hughes, Megan and Jonathon Eitson and Matthew and Lauren Johnson; and his three grandchildren, Garrett Hughes, Kinslee Eitson and Hannah Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Cindie Wilson.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 918-291-3500.
