Mr. Fred R. Rempe, a resident of Tulsa, OK, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 27, 2009, at the age of 56. Born in Scranton, PA, son of the late Jerome and Marion Rempe, he was a member of St. Benedicts Church and the Knights of Columbus. Fred was a beloved and devoted husband; a loving father, friend, and hero to his children. He had a passion for golfing, fishing, cooking, and woodworking. Fred was employed by Tescorp Inc. Tulsa, OK as a sales manager for over 20 years. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Rose Marie Gombar-Rempe; daughter Sarah Rempe, Oklahoma City; son Ryan, Tulsa and Kaitlin Rempe, Tulsa. Also surviving, step-father Eugene Rempe, Scranton, PA, sister Catherine Rempe-Coyne, Scranton, brother Jerome, Scranton, a niece and nephews. Visitation 3-5pm Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Southwood Colonial Chapel.
Friends are asked to gather with family in a Rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, October 1st. at Fitzgerald (Southwood Colonial) Funeral Home in Tulsa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, October, 2nd at The Church of St. Benedict in Broken Arrow. Interment following at Calvary Cemetery.
