Freda Campbell, 93, of Tulsa, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel in Tulsa from 4:00-6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 21 at the Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel at 10:30 AM, with interment the same day at 2:00 PM at the Dustin Cemetery, Dustin, Oklahoma.
Freda was born on September 21, 1923, the daughter of Rufus and Belle (McCracken) Wolf. On August 23, 1943, she married Marvin Campbell in Holdenville, OK. She was a long-standing member of Christ United Methodist Church. Freda was known as "Nanny" to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, and being outdoors.
She is survived by six grandchildren, Melissa Campbell, of Broken Arrow, OK, Beth Fraze, and husband, Michael, of Flower Mound, Texas, Marti Yarberry, and husband, Allen, of Middleburg, FL, Greg Campbell, and wife, Nicole, of Broken Arrow, OK, Jeff Campbell, of Tulsa, OK, and Brad Campbell, and wife, Erin, of Jenks, OK; eight great-grandchildren, Hunter and Morgan Holt, Megan and Brandon Meier, Jackson and Emma Campbell, and Robert and Cole Campbell; daughter-in-law, Julie Campbell, of Broken Arrow, OK, and other extended family members and friends.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin Campbell, Sr.; and sons, Terry Campbell, and Marvin Campbell, Jr.
Memorial donations may be made in Freda's name to the American Heart Association.
