Gayle Williams, age 85, died on Sunday, September 10th, 2023 in Tulsa, OK. Gayle was born on June 9, 1938 to Herman and Greta Sears. She graduated from Knox Central High School and then furthered her education by obtaining an Art degree from Union College. She began her career as a teacher before going in to business with her husband, Bob.

On April 27th, 1958 she married Robinson Andy "Bob" Williams. Through their union they were parents to three children- Mark, Robyn, and Theron. They made their home in Barbourville and Lexington, KY before moving to Tulsa, OK in the late 80's to attend Rhema Bible College.

Gayle was deeply involved in her church and ministry. She and Bob traveled the globe to share the gospel of Jesus, helping to start a church in a Belarus and an orphanage in Cambodia. She enjoyed her family, her beloved Yorkie, Molly, and hosting beautifully executed events at her home.

Gayle is survived by - granddaughter Rachel (Steve) Motte; granddaughter Susan (Roger) Brown; daughter in law Alisa Williams; daughter in law Ashley Woodrich and grandchildren Calli and Cannon Williams; and great grandchildren, Hagin James, John Motte, Aislyn Petty, and Robyn and Ava Brown

Gayle is preceded in death by - parents Herman and Greta Sears; Brothers Terry and John Sears; husband Bob Williams; son Mark Andrew Williams; daughter Robyn Williams Ham; son Robert Theron Williams; granddaughter Amanda Gayle Petty; and grandson Samuel Andrew Wesley Ham

The funeral is scheduled for Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11am at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel in Tulsa, OK. There will be a visitation on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4-6pm at the same location.
