Geoffrey Paris Turner, age 66, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on October 7, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Geoff was born on August 2, 1959, in Saint Louis, MO to Emery Carl Turner and Regina Francis Turner. Growing up, he loved playing soccer and spending time outdoors. He moved to Tulsa in 1976 and immediately set down roots. Geoff graduated from Edison High School and earned his associate degree from OSU IT in Okmulgee, OK.
On June 8, 1985, Geoff married Patricia Ann Pineiro at Christ the King in Tulsa, OK. Together they built a life full of love with their two children (Katie and Conner), laughter, travel, and shared experiences that went by far too fast. Geoff and Patty loved dining at their favorite restaurants; if you saw Geoff sitting alone with a glass of wine, you knew Patty was on her way to join him. He told many jokes whose punchlines Patty knew by heart, yet she still laughed as if it were the first time. Geoff would not have been who he was without Patty by his side.
Geoff owned Turner Construction Company and was known for his skill and ability to do it all. He loved remodeling homes and met many of his closest friends through his work. Geoff was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend. He especially enjoyed getting coffee and driving around checking on job sites with Katie every Saturday and Sunday, usually ending up at Conner's house, followed by lunch with Patty.
Geoff was the leader of the Turner crew, a true family man. One of his favorite places was his father's lake house on Table Rock Lake, where he took great pride in helping his dad maintain the property. Whether it was chopping wood, fixing an ice machine, troubleshooting a boat issue, or getting ready for a big family gathering, Geoff was always there leading the project. He was extremely close with his father, Emery, and shared many leadership qualities with him.
Geoff also loved spending time with his friends and was an avid fisherman. He spent as much time on his boat as possible and loved traveling across the country to find new waters to explore and cast a line.
Geoff is survived by his wife, Patty; his daughter, Katie, her husband Billy, and their soon-to-arrive son; his son, Conner, his wife Hannah, and their son, Nolan; his father, Emery; his sister, Regina (Mike, Emily, Steve, Max, Sam, Kelly, Pierre, and Tim); and his brother, Quentin (Quinn, Alyssa, Sabrina, and Sydney). He was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Turner.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, in Tulsa, OK.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity in Geoff's memory.
Geoff will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
