George Lafayette Carver II was born on January 19, 1930. He transitioned to Heaven on October 29, 2020.

Born in San Antonio, TX to Mildred Remy and George Carver, George spent most of his life in Austin, TX where he attended The University of Texas. After obtaining his PhD, Dr. Carver taught Latin and Greek in the Classics Department of Arizona State University.

A loyal man and brilliant scholar, George's life included serving in the US Navy as an officer, attending seminary and furthering his biblical research at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome.

After returning to the States from Italy, George resided in Tulsa to be closer to his family. In Tulsa, he became a member of Holy Family Cathedral and a proud member of The Knights of Columbus.
