George Michael "Mike" Grove

"Gone Fishing"

Mike was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 27th, 1958. He passed away March 15, 2026, in Tulsa, at the age of 67.

In 1985, he moved to Texas and assumed the role of Maintenance Supervisor over several large apartment complexes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He retired in 2022.

Mike loved to fly. He obtained a pilot's license and owned his own plane. He was sad when his color blindness forced him to give up flying. Mike was also an avid fisherman. He spent all his free time fishing on the lake behind his home, doing what he loved. In 2024, he returned to Tulsa.

Mike did not want any type of memorial service, but his family will host a Celebration of Life/Birthday Party in his honor, May 24th, at Rayola Park, in Owasso, Oklahoma, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

He is greatly loved by his family and friends.
