Obituary

George Breetz Ruh, 88, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2016 in Tulsa, OK surrounded by his family. George was born on November 16, 1927 to Mildred and Robert Ruh of Covington, KY. In 1950 George married the late Rita Mae Clinkenbeard. His successful career with General Motors and AC Delco took them to Ohio, Michigan, and ultimately Oklahoma, where he retired in 1987.

In 1991 he married Jacqueline A. Beilke, moved to Grand Lake and fulfilled his lifelong dream of lake living.

George's passions included fishing, boating, and puttering around his beloved lake home. He was known for his outgoing personality, his quick sense of humor, and his candidness.

George is survived by his loving wife Jackie Ruh of Ketchum, OK, his children Gregory Ruh (Janice) of Tulsa, Tony Ruh (Karen) of Mansfield, TX, and Monica Ruh Wilson of Cincinnati, OH, seven grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. He is also survived by Jackie's three children, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Please note the correct service information: Visitation will be 3-5 PM on Sunday, April 24, at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel on East 91st Street in Tulsa. Services will be held at Fitzgerald Southwood Chapel on Monday, April 25, at 11:00 AM. Donations may be made to Grand Lake Community Ministry's The Blue House or St. Francis of Rome Parish, both of Langley OK.
