Geraldine Glenn Brunner

Geraldine was born to Harry T. Jr. and Minnie Payne Glenn on 8-19-1941, in Nashville, TN. She attended Hillsboro High School in Nashville and later graduated from Vanderbilt University.

She worked briefly at Genesco in Nashville, also worked for the Superintendent, Board of Education of Nashville, Davidson County, TN. Then, worked as an institutional Representatives' Assistant in the brokerage firm of Spencer Trask and Co.

She relocated to Lawton, OK with her parents in 1980. She was employed by the City of Lawton HUD Office. She was named Mayor's appointee as Commissioner on the Lawton Human Rights and Relations Commission.

She married Duane R. Bruner SGM (US Army) (RET) in Jenks, OK in 2005. They relocated to Florida shortly after. She was a member of the River Oaks Christian Church, Jenks, OK.

She is survived by her husband, Duane, of the home; two sons, Johnny P. Ellis of Broken Arrow, OK and Kevin C. Ellis of Jenks, OK; a step-son, Jerry D. Brunner of Bellwood, PA; and a step-daughter, Jackie R. Terwilliger of New Smyrna Beach, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel and Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday at River Oaks Christian Church in Jenks. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, OK.
