Gerry (Geraldine Cohen), 87 yrs, died peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2013. Gerry was married to William Cohen who preceded her in death. She will be buried by his side in Ocala, Fl.

Gerry is survived by her children, Helen (Sandy) Winoker, Janet Cohen, Julian Cohen (Leann Arkema), grandchildren, Chagai (Allison) Winoker, Richard (Kirsten) Cohen, Maya Winoker (Joshua Green) Amy (Kevin) Fickenscher and great grandchildren, Nina Winoker, William Cohen, and Nolen Fickenscher.

Gerry will be remembered by her family and friends as sometimes quiet, but usually feisty and fun-loving. She was also known to speak her mind (especially when she hit 80, which is when she professed that you can say and do whatever you want) with humor, love, and sincerity, especially when she thought you needed a little unsolicited advice.
Her children and especially grandchildren and great- grandchildren were always a source of great joy for her and really kept her going these last few months.

The family would like to thank her many friends and their many friends who have stood by and supported her and them on this final journey but would be remiss if they didn't specifically mention her "Tulsa" family, Jack and Sally Fly. This was a very special friendship of almost 10 years and during these last 6 months they have been by her side almost every day! Thank you!

Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m.,Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Fero Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Beverly Hill, Florida. There will be no services in Tulsa.
