Glenn Edward Burnett was born on July 15, 1935 in Wichita Kansas. He died on October 17, 2016 at the age of 81 years old. He was the picture of health all his life and left this world suddenly and with no suffering – exactly as he would have wanted it. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan who died in 1997, and his parents and 2 siblings. He is survived by 2 brothers.

He leaves behind his three children and their spouses, Glenn E Burnett II MD and Sophia Young of Dallas, TX, Michelle Goldstein and Alan Goldstein of Tulsa, OK and Kristen Burnett of Tulsa, OK. All loved him very much – and will miss him as long as we live on this earth.

He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren. All will miss their grandfather very much – and will always have fond memories of him.

He retired from the Tulsa County Health Department after working there for decades and worked at Fitzgerald Funeral Service for many years.

He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene.
For the past few years he has been an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

His joy in life was his membership in the Southside Tulsa Rotary Club having served as its President and being active in its activities for years. He was a true Rotarian in every sense of the word.

Visitation: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Memorial Service will be held: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Asbury United Methodist Church.
