Obituary

Glenn O. Myers was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, after a long and well-lived life.

Glenn was born in Walker County, Alabama, on April 18, 1929. He grew up on a farm and attended Carbon Hill High School. In 1947, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, beginning a distinguished career of service to his country. In 1954, he married the love of his life, Mary. Together, they raised five children and traveled to many places throughout Glenn's Air Force career, creating a lifetime of cherished memories.

In 1970, Glenn retired from the Air Force, and the family settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he began a second career with Telex, remaining there until his retirement. In his later years, Glenn found great joy in golfing, traveling with Mary, and spending time with his grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride and happiness.

Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary. He is survived by his children: Steven Myers of Tulsa; Judith Collier of Claremore; William Myers and his wife, Suzanne, of Broken Arrow; Teresa O'Connor of Cathedral City, California; and Margaret Kertzman and her husband, Kevin, of Bella Vista, Arkansas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.

Glenn will be remembered for his distinguished military service, his dedication to his family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. He leaves behind a lasting legacy that will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
