Hannah Reynolds Illig, age 81, a longtime resident of Tulsa, OK died peacefully on November 2, 2022.
Born on April 14,1941 in Covington, GA, she was the daughter of Ambrose Carl Reynolds and Lucile Boswell Reynolds. She was married to Dr. Bill (William P.) Illig for 46 years until his death in April 2011.
Hannah graduated from Newton County High School in Covington, GA, and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree from North George College. After graduating, she began her career as a Medical Technologist at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She soon met the man of her dreams, Dr. Bill Illig. After living in Rochester, MN and St. Simmons Island, GA they moved to Tulsa, OK in 1971. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Hannah had many talents and interests. She had beautiful voice and enjoyed playing the piano. She loved to sew and to paint. She was most at home when outdoors tending to her flowers or playing golf.
She was preceded by her husband Dr. Bill (William P.) Illig, and two granddaughters, Sarah Minielly and Mary Claire Minielly. She is survived by her three daughters: Natalie (Mrs. John) McNicholas of Naples, FL, Mary (Mrs. David) Minielly of Tulsa OK, and Tricia (Mrs. Eric) Davis of Dallas, TX. She is the proud grandmother of Taylor Davis, Nicole Davis, Alec Minielly, and Matthew Minielly. Her daughters and grandchildren will be forever grateful for all that she has done for them, taught them, and for the way she loved them.
A service will be held privately for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the Family welcomes donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society <
