Harry Guterman, 93, formerly of Tulsa, OK, died on September 13, 2018 In Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He was born in Konstantynow, Poland on June 13, 1925 to Chaim and Hinda Guterman. During World War II, Harry was a prisoner in German concentration camps until his escape from Dachau in March, 1945. He married Ursula Weller on August 28, 1946 in Bremen, Germany and moved to New York City the following January. On July 1, 1954, Harry and Ursula moved to Tulsa, OK where they made their home and raised their family. Harry opened Fabricut that same year with partner, Joe Finer. Harry was involved with the Jewish Federation of Tulsa and led the United Jewish Appeal bond drive in Tulsa in the mid 70's. Retirement in August, 1998 allowed Harry and Ursula to relocate to Florida.
His son, Alan, preceded him in death on August 17, 1990 and his first wife, Ursula, preceded him in death on January 17, 2000. Along with his second wife of 16 years, Frania Satz, Harry is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cindy Guterman and Daniel and Sharon Guterman, as well as 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be Monday, September 17th, 1:00 p.m., at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
