Funeral services for Harry Joseph Smola, 89, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, are at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Tulsa, OK. Rev. Msgr. Gregory A. Gier, Rector Emeritus will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in Mizpah Church Cemetery, Pelham, Georgia. Mr. Smola passed away at home on Thursday, October 6, 2016 .
Mr. Smola was born March 18, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Harry and Lillian Krazel Smola. He served his country in the United States Army in WW II and the Korean Conflict. On December 24, 1965, he married Joan Coker Smola, who survives. He retired as a District Manager in the Automotive Replacement Division of TRW, Inc. (Thompson-Ramo- Woolridge, Inc.), Cleveland, Ohio.
Survivors include: wife, Joan Coker Smola, Sapulpa, OK; son, Michael Smola and wife, Laura, of Gravette, AR; grandchildren, Brittany Smola, Bentonville, AR, and Elijah Smola, Gravette, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
