IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harry Robert Dean
Tolliver
July 22, 1945 – March 2, 2026
Celebration Of Life for Harry Robert Dean Tolliver
Harry Robert Dean Tolliver, better known as "Chipper" to family and friends, 80, of Tulsa, passed away on March 2, 2026, in Sperry, Oklahoma.
Chipper was born on July 22, 1945 in Beeville, Texas, to Dr. HE Tolliver and Ella T Tolliver. He served in the US Navy and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a masters degree in 1973.
After his graduation, he moved to Tulsa and worked in the banking industry. After undertaking the task of developing the Oklahoma Credit Union, he was named Manager of the new institution. Having been in a position to see the opportunities available to the entrepreneur in real estate development, he became a real estate developer, taking on several multi-family projects and long-term care facilities in the greater Tulsa area. Above all of his business accomplishments, his exemplary love for his two children was his greatest achievement. He had a passion for flying and traveling, which he passed on to his son. He was known for his kind, caring, and giving heart; with a quick wit, great smile, and a funny saying for just about any situation. Touching so many lives in so many ways, he made this world a happier place.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Maryella Marie Tolliver, and his sister Eleanor Mae Warner. He is survived by his son, Robert Shane Tolliver; granddaughter Madison Ella Tolliver; grandson Brennon Shane Tolliver (Hannah); great grandson, Grayson Shane Tolliver; his two sisters, Margaret Ann Walker, and Betty Jean Moore (Jerry); and many nephews and nieces.
A celebration of his life is scheduled at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel on April 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM
In lieu of flowers, donations can be mailed to Herman House Hospice, 7590 North Harvard Avenue, Sperry, Oklahoma, 74073 or by email: manager@thejourneyhomeok.org
