Hazel was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was the only child, but she was raised with two of her cousins. She was a very independent and strong woman. Hazel graduated from college with a Bachelors Degree, she became a Medical Technologist. Eventually she became the supervisor of the Medical Technologist of the company she worked for. After retirement, Hazel enjoyed gardening, she was a part of a computer club, she traveled all over the world, actually every continent except for one. Hazel enjoyed reading the newspaper, drawing, and coloring.
