Obituary
Helen E. April, devoted and loyal wife of Dr. Paul A. April, died November 8, 2015 after a prolonged, recurrent non-smoking related lung disease.
Paul and Helen knew each other since grade school, though Helen remembers this as beginning in first grade and Paul recalls it from third grade. They lost track of each other, though they lived around the corner from each other, until November 1950, when their romance began and were married in June 1953 when Paul finished his second year of medical school. Helen worked to provide financial sustenance until shortly before her first child, Bryan, was born in July 1956. Thereafter Helen was occupied with caring for her additional children, Jane, born in 1958, and Carol, born in 1963, as well as for her husband. All who knew Helen mourn her passing.
Graveside Services will be 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
