Obituary

Helen (Elena), as she was known by her family and friends, was born in 1919 in New York City, and lived there until late in her life. She and her much beloved sister Nora moved to Tulsa in their 80's to live closer to family.

She loved and enjoyed reading and books her whole life, and worked as a secretary for many years at Harper & Row Publishers in New York. After coming to Tulsa she volunteered at the Nathan Hale Library.

Her home was filled with needlework and hand embroidery at which she excelled. Helen was an ardent gardener and cat lover.

She was a lifelong care giver to her parents and later her older sister. Her kind heart and gentle nature are how she will be lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
