Obituary
Helyn Danzinger passed away February 4, 2011, in Tulsa, OK.
Born to Max and Ann Reyes on June 20, 1928 in Wewoka, OK, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Danzinger and her brother Richard Rice.
Helyn and Allen began Security Burglar Alarm Company in Oklahoma City in 1954. Honeywell purchased the company in 1969 as their first acquisition in the alarm industry.
Helyn loved working with Camp Fire Girls, the Temple B'nai Israel Sisterhood, Hadassah, and Friends of the Library in Oklahoma City. She especially loved supporting the Wewoka Library.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lee Ann Danzinger of Oklahoma City and Barbara Winder of Tulsa; son-in-law, Dr. Ron Winder and granddaughter Deborah Winder, both of Tulsa; her brothers Dr. Sam Rice of Columbus, GA and Julius Rice of Seminole, OK; and many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wewoka Public Library, 118 West 5th Wewoka, OK 74884.
Interment at Emanuel Hebrew Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Shiva Minyan services to be held at the home following burial.
