Obituary
Herbert Lee Maslan, 84 of Tulsa, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 7, 1929 son of Bertha and Morris Maslan. Herbert graduated from University of Missouri and received a business degree. He was married to Kathy Maslan. Herbert was an innovative businessman and built Stewarts and Extension 1 Women's Clothing chain with locations across the US from 1955 to 1987. He served in the Naval Reserve and also served as past- president of the United Jewish Appeal in Tulsa.
He is survived by his children Jeffrey Maslan, Allison Maslan, and Wendy Maslan, and his grand-daughter Gabriella Knister.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to Temple Israel in his memory.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, at Temple Israel.
