Obituary

Hilary Andrews, 35, while at home, had a catastrophic brain aneurysm on Christmas night 2014 that left her unresponsive. Efforts to revive her continued unsuccessfully throughout the night. She was born in Casper Wyoming and lived there until she was ten, where she was a good little snow skier and Brownie. She moved to Edmond Oklahoma where she graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1997. She was not only a junior varsity cheerleader but became the first female drum major from that school. In high school, Hilary received many honors in band, including being first chair clarinet in the Oklahoma All-State Band and receiving superior ratings as a soloist in OSSAA competitions. She attended OSU on a music scholarship, playing in the marching band for two years. Her marketing major was earned and she went on to work as a land administrator at EOG in Oklahoma City. Hilary moved to Tulsa eight years ago with Samson Resources as a land technician and most recently with Samson Energy. Her long time passion was animal rescue, donating religiously to ASPCA and rescuing Sebastian and Daisy. Her life became that of a passionate and avid cyclist; joining both Team Lee's and Divas. Hilary treated everyone as a friend and was a person that others just gravitated towards. She leaves behind her mother, Jeanette King, father, Richard Andrews, brother, Matthew Andrews, sister, Tracey McDonald, sister and brother-in-laws, Godmother Dianne Fermanian, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Hilary gave the gift of life to multiple recipients that we don't yet know so in a very tragic way she lives on. Viewing will take place at Fitzgeralds Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E 91st St, Tulsa, Friday January 2 from 6 to 8pm. Funeral services follow on Saturday at 10am, followed by interment at adjacent Calvary Cemetery.
