Howard West Feterly, Lewisville, Texas formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, July 12, at home after a long illness. Howard was born November 10, 1943, in Santa Ana, CA to Doreen and Howard Feterly. Graduated from Nathan Hale high school and attended Northeastern State University in Miami, OK. Howard played football for Rogers and Nathan Hale High Schools and Northeastern State. He was employed by Rockwell International for many years in the policies division. Howard worked for TK International in their production control division and migrated to the management of their IT department. In Howard's retirement he enjoyed fishing, hunting, card playing, reading and traveling. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Rebecca (Chuck) Hurlburt, Leanna (John) Foshe, son Wayne, five grandchcildren, Jordan and Samantha Hurlburt, Kaitlyn Feterly and Haley and Caleb Foshe his sisters Judy Belton (Joe) and Debbie Kite (Kenneth) and many nieces and nephews. Services at Fitzgerald's Southwood Chapel 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
