Howard Owen Luper born July 11, 1933 to O.B. and Mary A. Luper in Kansas, Oklahoma. Passed from this life April 27, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a long time Catoosa resident and attended Catoosa First Assembly of God since the late seventies. Howard was a self employed welder and owner of Luper Truck Equipment. He also served several customers by mowing and brushhog work. He was a frequent patron of area truck stops and diners where he enjoyed spending time with his coffee drinking buddies.
He was preceded in death by his son Phillip Ray Luper and both of his parents. He is survived by his son, David Lee Luper and wife Kate Luper of Tulsa, his daughter, Jeanne Ann Kramarczuk and husband Andy Kramarczuk of Catoosa, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his sisters, Emma Shotwell of Sand Springs and Donna Logsdon and husband Will Logsdon of Sand Springs, his nieces and nephews, numerous other relatives, and a great host of friends.
Visitation Monday, April 29, 12-8 pm at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel. Funeral service 10 am, Tuesday, May 1st at the First Assembly of God Church in Catoosa, OK. Committal prayers and interment 3 pm, Tuesday in the Kansas Cemetery, Delaware County, Kansas OK.
