Ilene stepped into heaven on October 13, 2018 in Olathe, Kansas at the age of 92. Born in Oklahoma to Don and Davie Parisho, she met her Webster High School sweetheart and later husband Lee V Kennon. Her early married years were spent at Oklahoma University where Lee played football.  Ilene was a Boomer Sooner with season football tickets for over 70 years.

Her daughters, Karen Zinn and Claudia Ross, with son in laws Dain Zinn and Rev. Donald Scott Ross, along with grandchildren Brad Zinn, Chris Zinn, Don (Scribe) Ross, Jennifer Galvan and Heidi Wise and 12 Great Grandchildren will miss her greatly.  Her grandchildren will readily tell you that Ilene was the best grandmother anyone could ever have.

She was an active member since college of Boston Avenue Methodist Church and an involved participant in the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School class.

Ilene was a caring and good friend to so many in Tulsa, often taking them food and chocolate chip cookies. She was loved and appreciated by everyone who knew her.  She truly demonstrated the compassion of God towards people.Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Boston Avenue Rose Chapel.
